My Three Favorite Fitness Posts This Week

As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve been participating in a 7 Day Blogging Challenge by Darren Rouse of Problogger and for this last challenge, I want to share my three favorite fitness posts from this week from new friends and colleagues that also participated.  I really enjoyed all of these so, in no particular order, they are:

1.“The Power of Exercise” by Darren Moroney here:   I love boxing so when I started reading this I thought I’d learn some boxing fitness tips, but what I learned was more about why I care more about helping others than just boxing.  It’s very moving and inspiring!


2. While my next choice is actually aimed at men weightlifters, it’s a story we can all relate to and one I’ve discussed before, getting back into your fitness routine after an illness or injury. Ian Dawson Mackay gives tips we all can learn from here:


3. Lastly, I have chosen one that is technically not about fitness but it is about your well being and I think we can all reap the benefits of meditation and The Lilac Lounge shares 13 great ways to make meditation happen in your life here:

      Thank so much Darren! You’re right about that! It’s been fun but more importantly the new relationships. Maybe we can work together sometimes & can help each other out!
